Ethical Consideration of Presentation Aids


1.  Be certain charts or graphics do not distort information.

2.  Never manipulate visual images to deceive your audience.

3.  If you alter an image to reveal some deeper truth, let the audience know you have done so.

4.  Cite the source of any data you present in a graph.

5.  As a listener, be on guard against the power of presentation aids to trick you.
