Sleeping Accommodations
Students should bring clothes for the weekend, a sleeping bag, towel and ordinary toiletries. Guys and girls will sleep in separate common areas.
Parents and adults need not bring a sleeping bag but instead should bring sheets and a blanket for the dorm rooms. The beds have mattresses but nothing else.
Students are expected to remain on the grounds of Holy Cross College for the entire weekend.
Adults are free to come and go as they please, so long as there are a sufficient number of chaperones.
Bathrooms and Showers
Rooms have shared bathrooms and showers.
Weather
The weather is generally warm the last weekend of June, usually in the 70s or 80s. It isn’t uncommon for there to be a “cold” spell where it gets down into the 60s or even 50s at night. Check the weather forecast for the South Bend area the day before you come. If you can’t find a forecast for South Bend, look up Chicago which generally experiences similar weather to South Bend.
